Fifth Grade

Fifth Graders have been learning about music from Ghana (Africa) and making talking
drums out of coffee cans and PVC tape.  Though this process is not the same as is used
by professional drum makers in Africa, children in Ghana do use a similar process by
wrapping rubber around a can.

The Fourth and Fifth Grades took a field trip to the Cleveland Orchestra on February 16,
